Write for Us
Share what you learned running an organization.
The “Write for Us” program lets you turn your experience running an organization into a genuinely useful article and grow as an author.
About the program
Everything is published on the Quorify blog with a single purpose: to help the community of student organizations, NGOs, associations and federations in Romania lead better, more transparently and with less administrative overhead.
It doesn't matter whether you're a student-league president, a department coordinator or a volunteer who carried a campaign. If you learned something that would help another team, we want to read it.
General guidelines
Style and tone
Write to explain. The Quorify blog exists to inform and educate. Keep it clear and to the point, as if you were handing over your role to the board member who takes over from you.
Friendly, warm tone. We want to be a trustworthy source without sounding cold. Our readers are organization leaders, coordinators and volunteers, most of them between 18 and 30. Write the way you'd talk to your own team.
Article length
We favour in-depth articles that cover a topic fully, usually between 1,200 and 1,800 words.
Don't pad an article just to make it longer. If you can cover the topic in less, all the better, as long as it stays complete and clear.
You can mention your organization
You may include a paragraph about your organization or project if it fits the topic: a case study, a successful campaign (for example a Form 230 campaign), or a good practice you applied that worked.
You can also add a do-follow backlink to your organization's site or to any relevant resource you mention in the article.
Do your research, keep SEO in mind
Before you write, check that we haven't already covered the topic, and make sure the information is accurate and up to date. Where relevant, add links for further reading.
Don’t stuff the same keyword to rank higher. Use synonyms and related terms in natural language. A simple trick: search your topic on Google and look at the “People also search for” box.
Unique and personal content
Your content must be original and not published on any other site or blog. Duplicate content is rejected automatically.
Bring in your own experiences from the organization: they add weight and help readers understand. Still, keep the audience's needs in mind and give the community relevant information.
Structure and readability
Get to the point. Simple, focused writing helps readers find what they need quickly.
Space out your paragraphs: our rule of thumb is 2 to 4 lines each, with the article around 1,600 words. Every important claim should be backed by data and linked to the source you cite.
